For those with a sense of adventure and a love of the countryside this tour is the ideal way to see the magnificent temples, cycle through local villages and try some kayaking to fishing villages on Asia's largest freshwater lake.
Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport this morning you will be met by a local English speaking guide and transferred the short distance to your hotel to check in.
The afternoon is free at leisure. You can visit the Old Market for some shopping and see some traditional Cambodian produce on sale, the Made in Cambodia Market, a local artisan or a silk farm.
This evening enjoy a Welcome Dinner whilst watching a show of Apsara dancing.

Today spend the full day enjoying the highlights of the Temples of Angkor Wat. Travel will be by remork (the Cambodian version of the Thai tuk tuk).
This morning begin your exploration of the Temples of Angkor by visiting Angkor Wat, the largest religious building in the world. Continue to the ancient city of Angkor Thom which holds many important monuments including the Bayon Temple/
At midday take a break at the former Royal Bathing Pool of Sra Srang. Enjoy some Khmer food at a local restaurant.
Following lunch, and the chance to relax a little stop, at Ta Prohm, a unique temple that has been left to nature with trees and vines growing amongst the structures.

This morning explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Siem Reap by bicycle. The scenery will provide a contrast to that of the temple visits. Your tour will take you past pagodas, villages and rice fields and seize the opportunity to learn about Khmer cultures and lifestyles and take some beautiful photos.
Cycling distance: approximately 20-30km on mostly small roads and unpaved village sandy roads. Duration approx. 6hrs.
The evening is free for you to explore Siem Reap on your own accord. Perhaps visit Pub Street and have a drink or dinner to look back over your adventures so far.

After an early breakfast leave Siem Reap and drive to the great Tonle Sap Lake, the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia and the heart of the Cambodian fishing industry.
A short instruction will be provided on kayaking before you paddle off.
When the lake is full we will kayak through the village and between the houses, fish pens, animal cages etc. moored beside a small hilltop pagoda. When the lake is low we take a motorboat to where the channels opens out and paddle to where the village has moved and paddle out to the open lake watching the birds and fishermen.
Return to your hotel around midday.
In the evening enjoy some modern Khmer theatre at a performance of Phare, the Cambodian Circus by professional artists from Phare Ponleu Selpak. Enjoy an hour long show which is a great, positive example of modern Cambodia and mixes theatre, dance, music, juggling and contortion.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. An English speaking guide will assist in the departure transfer. It is then time to say, ‘Chum reap lear’ and goodbye to the Kingdom of Wonder.
This tour is designed for people who know how to ride a bike though there is no need to be an athlete. The cycling is at an easy pace and there is plenty of opportunity to stop when you need a break. Kayaking is on flat water and suitable for those who have never tried it before.
