Spend a week on board Toum Tiou I (also called Toum Teav) to combine the bustling cities of Saigon and Phnom Penh with a Mekong River cruise. With just 10 cabins this small and personal cruise offers longer cruising and smaller destinations to be visited in comparison to the larger vessels.
A small and intimate boat in which to enjoy river cruising. Considered as a 4 star boat this is one of our favourites and comes from the longest established cruising company on the Mekong. An advantage of the smaller vessel is the Toum Tiou can get closer to Siem Reap and sail all the way to Saigon – the larger vessels cannot do this and road transfers are required.
7 night options from Siem Reap to Saigon or vice versa.
Toum Tiou I also occasionally sails the shorter stretch from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap or vice versa which is a 2 night option.
Toum Tiou has 10 cosy double cabins; each with a private lounge area, air conditioning, hi-fi system, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold private shower. Cabins are located on the Main or Upper Deck.
Cuisine on board is a mixture of East meets West in the Upper Deck restaurant. A semi-buffet breakfast and lunch is followed by themed dinner. Tea, coffee and drinking water are complimentary. An extensive wine list with premium wines and liquors is also available.
A lounge area offers the chance to unwind and enjoy evening lectures. One of the advantages of the Toum Tiou I is that with the boat’s low draft it allows access to the remotest of villages and to gently hug the river line, affording passengers priceless views of people, flora and fauna.
